Dear, soft-hearted Boots is so appreciative of love and attention that we surmise
he didn't get much of either in his life before arriving at the shelter. Well-trained
in both leash walking and basic commands, Boots would be a wonderful addition to
any household that is looking for a young dog who has outgrown the majority of
his puppyness. Gentle, well-behaved, and affectionate, Boots would likely
thrive in a household with dog-savvy children 10 years or older. Boots
is friendly with other dogs, but because his energy can be intimidating
to other dogs he sometimes prompts them to bark or growl at him. Boots
simply goes into a play-bow, attempting to start a game of wrestling
or "you sniff me, I sniff you". Boots is currently attending BadRap t
raining classes weekly and getting his commands down like a pro. With
another well-matched canine, Boots could potentially be the second
