Gemma is a quiet, gentle, graceful German Shepherd, about one and a half years old. S he quickly bonds with humans and is very affectionate. She is house trained and has lovely leash manners, and has cast all of the volunteers who have worked with her under her spell. She needs a permanent or foster home where she can be the only pet. Gemma has been diagnosed with EPI, an enzyme deficiency. She can live a long and healthy life but must have a supplement added to her meals. A volunteer has offered to pay for this supplement for the life of Gemma.
