Rufus sleeps like a contented baby in his kennel, but once he is out he wants to be on the
move. A good word to describe him is "eager." He is an energetic boy and needs plenty
of exercise before he can settle. He tends to be pully, so will require a little leash work to walk comfortably.
Rufus is an agreeable guy (just look at that big grin!) who received a positive temperament
test evaluation. He passes other dogs in the kennel without reacting and walked calmly along parallel to another shelter dog on leash. The scratches on his head are a puzzle, but may indicate he is a cat chaser.
His smiley face is surely pit bull, but his coat and something about his profile suggest
shar-pei as well.
