Duke's great with other dogs, cats, and kids (he's lived with all 3 his whole life).
He's very affectionate and likes attention. He is good off leash and listens to basic commands. If left by
himself for an extended period of time, like most pit bulls, he will find something to chew on - so he
needs good chew toys around. He likes to eat a lot. Duke loves going to dog parks. He doesn't
like being left outside alone and will bark to let you know that, but otherwise is not a barker.
He is very comfortable with people but does not like rough- housing. The owner left an abusive
relationship 4 years ago where Duke had to experience abuse too, which is why she took him with
her when she left. Because of this, he can get frightened by sudden movements but is far FAR from
an aggressive dog.
He is not an alpha male type. He is neutered, needs to be registered and booster shots probably.
Has a microchip which could be changed to HAL or new owner.
Duke tends to think he's a lap dog because all he wants to do is cuddle!! Contact Louisa,
